So, let me take you back to 1997. Picture this: I’m 12 years old, just trying to survive the chaos of being a kid. It was a year of deep questioning about life; why are we here? What are we doing here? Trying to figure out the dynamics of adults? Trying to understand this thing we call Love while navigating all the new emotions of teen life. There seemed to be a lot of big questions out there but not many answers. None were making sense, though I didn’t know it at the time; the beginning of a spiritual awakening was blossoming, and what followed would change the course of my life.
